NEWS: Praemostro’s forecasting solution goes live at Nordsjællands Hospital

Praemostros prognoseløsning i drift på Nordsjællands Hospital

The Emergency Department is already seeing the benefits of staying ahead!

What a success! At Praemostro, we’re genuinely delighted that our forecasting solution has now been implemented in the Emergency Department at Nordsjællands Hospital – and that it is already generating real enthusiasm among staff.

The implementation is the result of a close and focused collaboration with the Centre for IT and Medical Technology (CIMT) in the Capital Region of Denmark, as well as the dedicated team in the emergency reception. Through diligence, persistence and shared professional insight, the “crystal ball” that has long been running at FAM OUH has now been transplanted and put into operation in a new context. It’s a strong example of what can be achieved together across regions, clinicians and technical environments.

Improved overview – improved pathways

With the forecasting solution, the Emergency Department can now see:
– whether a busy period is coming
– where the pressure is expected
– when demand will peak

This enables the team to adjust staffing, skills and flow before pressure rises. The result is better patient pathways, less stress and a healthier working environment for staff.

A solution ready for wider implementation

We look forward to continuing the dialogue with departments interested in integrating a forecasting solution into their setup. Staying ahead of demand and resources isn’t just an advantage – it’s a genuine gamechanger for emergency departments.
